Get a Library Card?

How to get a Library Card

To get a library card, if you are 18 or over, bring a valid form of ID with you, and a document showing your current residence (updated driver's license, utility bill, etc.) to the library, and we will take care of you at the main desk. We will have a few additional questions for you (such as phone and email information), and then we should be able to give you your card. If you are a minor (under 18 years old), a parent must accompany you to get your library card, and they will be required to fill out a permission form.

All patron's accounts expire once a year. If the upcoming expiration date is not updated prior to the account expiring, you will have to contact us, and we will update your expiration date, pending no other restrictions to your account. You will need an unexpired card to check out items both in person or electronically.

We do not issue replacement cards if yours becomes lost or damaged, but we will be happy to give you your library card number if you do not have that information. We will just need to verify your identification by asking some questions about your account (by phone or in person), or by seeing your ID.

A great way to always keep your card information handy is by entering it into the Evergreen Mobile App. Even if you lose or misplace your card, you can recall the information in the app. You can have multiple accounts on one device.
